An oDesk contractor may create a company to hire and pay other oDesk contractors. oDesk earnings can be used to pay for these contracts, but verifying a payment method is still required.
Create an Employer Company if you want to:
Post a job and interview Contractors.
Hire and pay Contractors through oDesk.
Accrue Feedback as an Employer Company. (Feedback earned as an Employer is kept separate from feedback earned as a Contractor.)
Create an Agency if you want to:
Manage the job applications and contracts of Agency Contractors (ACs).
Pay your ACs directly and not through oDesk. (When an Employer hires and pays an AC, the money goes into the Agency's account.)
Accrue Feedback to both your ACs' and Agency's profiles.
